04:00 AM – Hotel / Nile Cruise Pickup in Aswan
Your private tour begins with early morning pickup from your hotel or cruise in Aswan. You’ll travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle with your guide for a scenic journey south to Abu Simbel.
08:00 AM – Explore Abu Simbel Temples
Arrive at the UNESCO-listed temples of Abu Simbel, carved into the cliffs along the Nile. With your Egyptologist guide, discover the story of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari, and marvel at the enormous statues and intricate carvings that have stood for over 3,000 years. Learn how these temples were relocated in a massive UNESCO project to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.
10:30 AM – Depart Abu Simbel
After a memorable visit and free time for photos, begin the drive back to Aswan.
01:30 PM – Lunch in Aswan
